FAU Announces Winners of 2009 Business Plan Competition

BOCA RATON, FL (May 6, 2009) – The Adams Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE), within Florida Atlantic University’s Barry Kaye College of Business, recently announced the winners of its 2009 FAU Business Plan Competition. 
FAU students, faculty and members of the business community worked together to create innovative business plans and were eligible to win prizes totaling more than $15,000.

 
FAU Hosts Business Plan Competition

BOCA RATON, FL (January 12, 2009) - Florida Atlantic University's Adams Center for Entrepreneurship and the Barry Kaye College of Business are pleased to announce the return of the FAU Business Plan Competition, to be held in the spring of 2009. In this competition, FAU students, faculty and members of the business community work together to create innovative business plans and are eligible to win prizes totaling more than $15,000. A distinct feature of this competition allows members of the business community to team up with FAU students to enter the competition and compete.

 
Innovation Entrepreneurship Certificate

BOCA RATON, FL (November 3, 2008) – Beginning in spring 2009, the Adams Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE) and the Barry Kaye College of Business (Kaye COB) will be launching an ambitious new Certificate Program in Innovation Entrepreneurship. This program is intended to provide students with the most current knowledge and skills needed to take innovative products and services to market in a range of emerging industries, covering important new areas such as Technology Transfer, Biotechnology, and Sustainability.

 
FAU’s College Of Business Adams Center For Entrepreneurship Receives “In Good Company” Scholarship From Jeffrey Firestone

BOCA RATON, FL (October 29, 2008) – Florida Atlantic University’s Adams Center for Entrepreneurship recently received a generous scholarship donation of $10,000 from Jeffrey Firestone of Boca Raton, Florida.  Firestone, a supporter of the Adams Center’s vision and mission to assist aspiring entrepreneurs in a fast-changing and highly competitive global environment, has also previously donated to other scholarship funds at FAU, including the “Take Note” music scholarship.
